Pilar del Toro

Description:

  • A particularly evocative place for drinks, tapas, or a full-fledged meal is Pilar del Toro, a multipurpose drinking-and-dining venue whose charms and diversity only become visible if you take a tour through the labyrinth of its upper dining rooms. The building that houses it is a private home dating from 1879. The interior patio looks like something from a Cuban hacienda, complete with deeply upholstered chairs and sofas. Above you'll find at least three charming dining areas, including a sheltered garden with dining tables and two romantic and intimate candlelit dining rooms. You can enjoy dishes like puff pastry filled with spinach and ham, codfish with a mousseline of avocado, roasted striped bass with mushroom sauce, and sliced or roasted lamb with fig sauce.
