    • This cinema is located a half mile north of the Grand Canyon Airport, in the National Geographic Visitor Center. The 20-year-old venue is being considered for the record of the longest running IMAX theater at any site in the Guinness Book of World Records, showing the most watched IMAX movie of all time. The cinema uses an enormous 60x80 foot screen featuring movies in a 15/70 film format, and a Dolby Stereo Surround Sound system on 14 speakers. It accommodates 524 visitors including 8 wheelchairs. This theater is popular for the Grand Canyon IMAX Theater Show, a movie about the beauty of the Grand Canyon. Children get admitted free when accompanied by an adult.
