- Join local rangers for 8am 'Coffee on the Rim' talks outside the rustic El Tovar Hotel. Begin your stay with important messages regarding park conservation. Bring your coffee, or purchase a cup, for this 1/2-hour talk. Help restore the environment during your stay by participating in an interactive, two-hour class entitled 'Alien Invaders'; offered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 8:30am. 'Read the Rocks--Geology Walk' and 'Living on the Edge--Rim Walk' are also offered daily, at 10a and 2:30p, respectively. Admission is free.
