El Tovar is considered the premier lodge of the hotels situated along the
South Rim of the Canyon. First opening its doors in 1905, the historic lodge has hosted Albert Einstein, Theodore Roosevelt, and other famous names throughout its more than one-hundred year history. El Tovar is the only Grand Canyon lodge to offer in-room dining and turn-down service.
