Description:

  • Mather Campground is located near one of the most spectacular views in the world, the rim of the Grand Canyon. The campground sits on the south rim, in Grand Canyon Village, and is operated by the National Park Service. Reservations are required from April 1 through November and can be made up to five months in advance. Mather Campground is handled on a first-come, first-served basis from approximately December 1 to March 1 of each year. Mather Campground has 319 tent and RV campsites with picnic tables, barbecue grills, water and toilets. There are no hookups. Within close proximity of showers, laundromats, dump station, general store, post office, bank, gift shops, cafeteria, gas station and shuttle stop.
