Description:
- Located about half a mile from the south rim, inside Grand Canyon National Park, Yavapai Lodge is the largest of the Grand Canyon lodges. Surrounded by pinyon and juniper woodland, the modern, two-building lodge features in-room coffee, refrigerators, and enough space to accommodate larger groups and families. Yavapai East is the most modern of the two buildings, with in-room air conditioning in all the 198 rooms. Yavapai West, with a total of 160 rooms, does not have air conditioning, but the rooms feature high ceilings with fans. Located next to the Market Plaza, the lodge offers easy access to a general store, post office, and bank. Yavapai Lodge is also home to the Canyon Cafe, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and a popular curio shop.
