Lipan Point - Grand Canyon National Park

  • Description:

    • Many sightseers agree that Lipan Point provides one of the most extraordinary views of the Grand Canyon. At this point, hikers meet the trailhead for the difficult Tanner Trail. Below, the Grand Canyon reaches is greatest depths. From this vantage point, sightseers are treated to an impressive wide array of rock strata. This lookout probably provides the best view of the inner canyon anywhere inside the park, especially in the early morning or evening when the sun is low.
