Murradweg

• Murradweg, this cycling path following the Mur River, begins at the foot of the Tauern Mountains in Salzburg and leads right to the Slovene border. It encounters some very picturesque scenery with the mountains in the north and the gentle, idyllic hills of the Styrian wine-growing area in the south. Graz lies about two-thirds of the way along its course. You are not likely to lose your way thanks to an abundance of well-placed road signs. The only potentially puzzling aspect is the change of name halfway; it starts out as Mur-Radweg in Salzburg and ends as Mur-Radtour in Bad Radkersburg at the Slovene border.
