- The Home of Tequila welcomes to for a nights stay. Err, well, that's of course assuming you don't take advantage of The Home of Tequila and drink lots of tequila without its import tariffs and totally forget why you needed a bed in the first place and end up on a Guadalajaran sidewalk minus a few dignity points and fresh laundry. But, that's just assuming. Gaudalajara has become a major tourism spot over the past few decades, and their hotel population has exploded. Many conventions are held in town, and that means the beds could be packed if you're looking for less bustle, but, if you're in town for the convention, it's a win-win, right?
