Jinyang Stone Valley (Jinyang Shi Lin)

Description:

• About 30 minutes west of the town center on the no. 29 bus, nestled among the mushrooming construction, is a miniature but quiet and relaxing stone forest. The ticket office seems to be permanently unmanned, although the day I visited, three PLA soldiers were sprawled out on the grass next to a heavy machine gun, a dozen K47s, and a pile of grenades, which seemed ample security for such a quiet scenic spot. At the front of the attraction is the nicely designed Qian Feng Yuan Restaurant.
