Built in 1999, and upgraded in price in 2007 from a Holiday Inn to a Crowne Plaza, this is Haifa's newest hotel and first international chain property. It provides excellent value in every way. It's a five-story modern structure with well-designed public areas and newer guest rooms than you'll find in other Haifa hotels. The location, one street downhill and parallel to the main Carmel area thoroughfare Ha-Nassi Street, offers great vistas and is close to the Carmelit station, but you need to be good at uphill climbing to stay here. Business services are strong: Special executive rooms come equipped for business travelers, and there's a business lounge with snacks and refreshments. Junior suites and standard rooms with connecting doors are good for families.
