Description:
This building, near the Dan Panorama hotel in Central Carmel, was once a rustic mountaintop villa in which the French artist Mané Katz lived (the neighborhood has certainly changed). The museum now houses a collection of Mané Katz's own work and personal collection -- drawings, aquarelles, gouaches, oil paintings, sculpture, and Judaica -- as well as interesting, well-planned visiting exhibits of contemporary art.
