- The Company House opened in January 2009 and has already gained an impetus in the live music entertainment scene in the North End area of Halifax. With a capacity of 150 people, this venue is the place to visit if you want to check out performances by well-known bands, upcoming local musicians, or even top notch North American bands. Owned and managed by Mary-Ann Daye, this place is a haven for all music enthusiasts in the city. The Company House is open from Wednesdays to Saturday from 2p onwards. This place also serves herbal tea and fair trade coffee in the afternoons, and a variety of drinks in the evenings. There's also a small, but tastefully selected menu of Mediterranean and Italian cuisine to gorge on when you visit The Company House. Call for additional information.
