Description:

• This restaurant is still often called Jardin de Mau, though it changed names and ownership about two years ago. it's now called Haku Kanu, and is airy and bright, with a large patio that overloooks the ever crashing surf on Rapa Nui's shores. There is tuna sashimi, and grilled steaks, fish and pasta. It's a little pricier than similar options but worht it for hte ambience and the setting, though there are sometimes strong winds coming off the coast, in which case it may be chilly on the patio. Come here for some wine or a coffee in the afternoon between meals, or if your budget dictates that you eat elsewhere.
