• This Gasthaus is a neighbour to the Nikolaikirche which has been standing for over 800 years, although it is not quite as old. Specialty dishes prepared in part using meat from their in-house butcher have been served in the very conservatively decorated guesthouse for over 125 years. These time-honored creations stand on the menu next to examples of more recent German cuisine which are equally as enticing. A very highly recommended range of dishes made with chanterelle mushrooms is served here seasonally, between the months of August and October. There is also a wide choice of dishes typical to the city of Hanover. Starters of baguette and cottage cheese are served with every main meal.
