• When speaking of commendable steakhouses in the Hanover area, Pfefferkorn (peppercorn) must be mentioned. Of course, the steaks are excellent — as in other comparable steak houses, the steaks here all come from Argentinian beef, but the pork and turkey steaks also come highly recommended. Pfefferkorn is extremely family-friendly: expect separate dishes for children, painting accessories and even presents for your kids! The restaurant's ambience is rustic, featuring plants and wood furnishings. The eyecatcher is the enormous pepper mill from which the restaurant draws its theme. You can dine outside in summer months. They use a special pepper sauce, as one might expect. They do a good line in fresh salads and good side orders of garlic bread and baked potatoes.
