Description:

  • Founded in 1831 by Karl Karmarsch, the University started off as a trade school. Named after the infamous scientist and philosopher Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz, the University offers courses reflecting the namesake's areas of expertise. Engineering, Law and Humanity are the chief subjects taught as the pupil are given various facilities including psychiatrists, sports and culture ensuring it isn't all work. Being the top most University in Hanover, it attracts a majority of the city's students with over 20,000 students taking help of the university's over 175 years of teaching experience.
