- Dr. Amir Pakzad, a carpet collector, has in his collection, carpets almost five centuries old. A passionate collector's enthusiasm is vivid in the systematic display of carpets according to time of origin and the region. Persian, Chinese, Turkish, Caucasian carpets, known for the distinct, different knots are a wonderful treat to look at. So are the porcelain, glass ceramic, metal artifacts and miniature paintings. The owner also owns a carpet shop below the museum, which is where you can request for a visit to the Oriental Carpet Museum.
