  • Located about midway between the turn to Waipio Valley and the Historic People's Theater, this small and charming café is the heartfelt enterprise of the Embernates. The couple has weathered illness and have rejoiced in recovery by opening this café along the main street in Honokaa. It's a small and plain spot with lots of memorabilia and trophies of Mr Embernates' coaching days. His wife Siupolu supports him by being the head barista. Street parking is free and plentiful. It's a wonderful local spot to grab a cup of coffee after visiting nearby Waipio Valley. -Lottie Tagupa
