Hawaii Volcanos National Park is one of the few places in the world where you can view a live active volcano. For most this is a once in a lifetime opportunity not to be missed. Remember, this is how these islands were made! Lava viewing can also be seen from the end of HWY 130. Located about 1.5 hours from Aloha Cater Lodge, the lava enters the ocean near Kalapana.
