Description:

  • This small eatery is easy to find along Kilauea. The bright eye-catching signage, the humid Hilo air and the setting on the first floor plantation-era building lends visitors the feeling of being in Bangkok. The eatery attracts the young and adventurous, so it's not uncommon to find groups of backpackers with foreign accents gathering for dinner. The family-run eatery is small and plain, and the interior houses some of the most dedicated, hard-working and accommodating folks around. The menu offers all the standards from curry to Pad Thai. There are several selections that are or can be tweaked for vegetarians. -Lottie Tagupa
