• Filled with local charm and island hospitality, this roadside bakery is located in the heart of Honomu along the road to Akaka Falls. One of several small shops in the plantation town, the atmosphere is classic Hawaii. The bakery opens early and offers up warm donuts, Portuguese-style sweet bread, turnovers, rolls and cookies. In the afternoon, traffic for the baked goods typically remains strong with an emphasis on the sweet and refreshing bowls of shaved-ice for those warm afternoons.
