• Located on one of the main thoroughfares in the small sleepy town of Hilo, this eatery is not glamorous, ritzy or refined, but it is friendly, reasonably priced and popular with Hilo residents. The modest interior features table seating with splashes of red Chinese accents and large windows overlooking Kilauea Avenue. The parking lot has lots of space for the occasional diner or for those who gather for larger parties. The menu is traditional and simple. Nothing too avant garde and nothing too remarkable, but everything from the beef broccoli to the wonton soup is done well for a reasonable price. -Lottie Tagupa
