- In spite of its Kailua location, this place manages to maintain a fairly low-key, local atmosphere. It serves all kinds of sandwiches, salads and fresh fish dishes - and it serves them till nearly midnight, which is noteworthy to any night owls coming in from the mainland. There are two dining rooms, the air-conditioned lounge and the Garden Lanai. Both are great places to kick back with a bottle of Budweiser or a Kona-brewed ale and a platter of hot, greasy fish-n-chips.
