Description:

  • Tucked away in a mostly residential area of Hilo, this gorgeous waterfall can be viewed up close with only a few steps from the parking lot. The water crashes over a cave where legend says is the home of the Hawaiian goddess Hina. The park is easy to find, just a few blocks from downtown Hilo. The entrance is well-marked and located in a rather unexpected place, seemingly wedged in between a few public schools and Hilo's largest hospital.
