Description:

  • Bright, bold and bountiful, this fruit stand is certainly worth a stop while exploring the coffee country of South Kona or even on the way back from a visit to the volcano. It's located on the mauka (mountain) side of the highway between mile markers 103 and 104. There is a generous parking lot and easy highway access. The stand offers a wide array of soaps, coffee, dried fruit, and farm fresh eggs, but the standouts are the local and exotic fruits grown on the family farm. Some of the more popular ones are the local tangerines, star fruit and avocados. Be sure to stop in during the summer for the wonderfully flavorful local Kona mangos. -Lottie Tagupa
