    • The park contains memorials for tsunami victims and Vietnam War veterans, as well as a cultural center. Facilities include a boat ramp, picnic tables, restrooms and an information center. Large landscaped fields in the park provide room for relaxation and viewing scenery. Visitor information services and cultural displays are available at the Wailoa Center.

      This park provides access to walking, quiet relaxation, fishing, picnicking, boating, photography and viewing exhibits.

      Wailoa River State Recreation Area lies in downtown Hilo on Hawaii's windward coast. Parking is available at the end of Pi'lani Street.
