• This restaurant, which dates back to 1836, invites you to dine in the beautiful surroundings of the local nineteenth-century manufacturing area. The restaurant belongs to those quality places where a gourmet lover can eat well. They use a lot of seasonal herbs. The menu mostly follows the traditions of the French cuisine. The interior is not very large but has a fine, spacious room. In beautiful summer weather they also have quite a large terrace. It has to be noted that this restaurant is not very cheap; still, the food is definitely worth every penny. They usually have two set menus to choose from as well as an à la carte menu. Children's meals exist as well. After a delicious lunch or dinner you can take a walk in the surroundings, enjoying the old beautiful buildings - among them is the big stone manor Fiskars, designed by Carl Ludvig Engel - or a small, old locomotive, a favourite sight for children. It takes about one and a half hours to drive from Helsinki to Fiskars.
