- On Hilton Head, catching a crab seafood treat is serious business. Beginning in June, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, you can learn all about this island delicacy, and even try your hand at catching some of your own. The Sea Pines Recreation Department hosts free tours and will supply all the equipment you need for crabbing. The tour includes lectures on different types of crabs, as well as preserving their natural habitat.
