• Saigon is often accused of lacking substance by, well mostly by Hanoians.  This slick new rooftop venue does nothing to allay the suspicion that Vietnam's southern hub is something of a showpony in comparison to its more stoic northern rival, but you can't fault its style.  Designed by Noor, the architecture firm behind similarly polished venues Cepage and Lebanese bar/restaurant Warda, the sleek bar is straight from the pages of an oh so aspirational lifestyle mag. As is the clientele. It doesn't matter whether it's a Monday or a Friday; most evenings here tend to take on the appearance of a catwalk show. In Saigon though, entering into such a scenario isn't nearly as off-putting as it would be in similar venues in western cities. The atmosphere is generally friendly and most of the customers tend to have the ability to break from preening to just enjoy the creative cocktail list and the stunning view over the city.
