- We walked past goldfish ,maybe you can't see because it's a small restaurant . At first sight, the place is charming and beautiful. There is indoor seating set with plush chairs and dainty tables and chairs. . The prices are mid to high by Asian standards (most expensive starter was 99,000D for fresh spring rolls and my stir-fried vermicelli with crab meat was 99,000D), but when you do the quick conversion to USD or can pay by card-- you realize the food is totally worth it!! You can have spring rolls anywhere, so we decided to try something new for our appetizer. We read the description for the Tôm Hoàng Kim (baked shrimp in satl egg) and decided to try that. It was delicious!! Definitely try the Tôm Hoàng Kim when you're here! The other must try are their fresh fruit shake. The English-speaking waiter recommended I order a Lady of Saigon (mixed fruit shakes including mango, lemon, orange). It was AMAZING! Definitely order a Lady of Saigon or some other fruit shake here. My friend ordered our tried and true favorite Vietnamese dish-- the Cá kho tộ. It was fantastic, and we highly recommend it as well! We will definitely be coming back to Goldfish soon! p.s. their dessert menu looks delicious and affordable as vietnamese sweet, Banana cake. Looks like a terrific spot to have dessert after dinner at Goldfish.
