• Thanh Mai's specialty is Bun Moc, which is yet another noodle and broth dish with a variety of mashed pork and chopped green onions in a light broth. This dish is very simple and seems to be one of the most-loved breakfast choices next to Vietnam's national dish, the noodle soup known as Pho. While Bun Moc does not pack as much flavor or hearty broth compared to other noodle dishes, it's a great way to start the day on a light and satisfied stomach. Visitors here crowd the sidewalk, wrapping as far as one street block sitting on the ubiquitous little plastic stools at small plastic tables. - Kevin Minh
