• During the day Yoko is a cozy and relaxing cafe decorated with local artists' photography and comfy sofas where one can often catch band members rehearsing for the evening performances playing cover songs from such bands as Nirvana, Linkin Park, CCR, their own originals, and The Beatles, keeping true to Yoko Ono after whom the bar was named. During the evening, the young crowd packs in around 9p to catch the bands which usually start off mellow and progressively getting harder, sometimes even thrashing to the crowds delight. Yoko is a place where musicians impress with cover and originals songs pushing the envelope of the local music scene's eclectic mix of pop, heavy metal and alternative tunes.
