    • The owners Natalie and Mathew Starkey have turned what was once a cottage into an intimate warm inviting environment with open fires, stained glass, and lots and lots of class. Mathew left an Executive Chef's position in Western Australia when he and Natalie decided to call Tasmania home and open their own establishment. Enjoy a pre-dinner drink in front of the fire ensconced on an ultra suede couch. Then move to your dining area to enjoy one of several deliciously unique culinary choices which change regularly depending on the availability of fresh produce. A small but well selected wine list accompanies the menu. Monty's is only a five minute walk from the center of Hobart and just two blocks from Salamanca Place.
