Enjoy the available light lunch, followed by a Tasmanian fruit and cheese platter, accompanied by coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. The Windeward Bound is a traditional Brigantine Square Rigger ship, fitted out with modern amenities, but otherwise totally traditional above and below deck. She is an Australian icon, having circumnavigated the Australian continent emulating the 1802 voyage of the famous explorer Matthew Flinders. Being crewed entirely by volunteers allows the proceeds of the tours to go towards maintenance of the ship and sailing scholarships for underprivedged youth.
