  • Description:

    • This is the last of the mansions that once lined Hollywood Boulevard. Built in 1903, this estate and its counterparts (most of which date from the 20s) were built on the influx of money garnered when Hollywood introduced the first 'talkies' to the world. From 1911 to 1926, the house served as a school for young children of the stars, including the offspring of Cecil B. DeMille and Douglas Fairbanks. A genuine Queen Anne Victorian, some of this home's features include a turret, gable and stained glass windows. Inside is the Hollywood Visitors Information Center, which provides free maps and other visitor guides. Just down the street you can enjoy some other sites such as the Hollywood Walk of Fame or
