Shark Valley Visitor Center - Homestead

  • Description:

    • The Shark Valley Visitor Center is located along the Tamiami Trail / U.S. Highway 41 on the northern border of the park, west of Miami. The center is open year-round with varying hours.

An observation tower located halfway around the tram road provides a spectacular view into the sawgrass marsh.

The Shark Valley Visitor Center is fully accessible and has a wheelchair available for loan on a first-come, first-served basis. Tram is accessible as well. Directions: Shark Valley is located along U.S. 41 (Tamiami Trail) on the northern border of the park.
