Description:
Rather innocent-looking during the day, this informal diner, decorated in 1950s Americana style and offering decent burgers, meatloaf, and breakfast served anytime, transforms into one of Lan Kwai Fong's most extroverted party scenes on weekend nights, no doubt fueled by the house specialty -- Jell-O shots -- and music supplied by a DJ. Al's Diner is a Lan Kwai Fong veteran with its killer music. There is a DJ daily, dancing on tables plus fab happy hour. A few shots, and you may find yourself joining the others dancing on the tables. Open daily at 11am, closing at 1am on Sunday, 2am Monday to Wednesday, 3am on Thursday, and 4am Friday and Saturday, with happy hour Monday to Friday, 4 to 8pm.
