- Murphy's love of 'the craic' and the sheer warmth and hospitality of the man endeared him to all that met him. Simple hearty fare, a well stocked bar and some mighty chat were the order of the day and when the band struck up there was many a session that lasted 'til dawn. What's good about PJ Murphy's is that it's got a large selection of Whisks along with fake fires, stone walls and darts. The Sunday Carvery is pretty good and one of the very few on Kowloon side. Murphy's food is very good value with a three course set lunch during the week for only $99.
