New Territories - Hong Kong Bars and Clubs

  • New Territories in Hong Kong isn't always synonymous with nightlife in Hong Kong and generally the bars tend to be watering holes, local pubs and karoke bars rather than top notch world class bars.

    Steamer's Bar at the Sai Kung Pier is probably one of the better authentic British pubsto unwind over a light meal or refreshment. The beer ranges are extensive and readily available.

    Dining alfresco right opposite the marina is the Hebe One O One Bar and Restaurant. It's one of the most romantic nightlife venues in the New Territories. The main Chef Steven Keys used to work at the Marriott so his self made signature dishes include Bama Ham and Chicken Roll, Cooked Mussel in White Wine, Vailla Lobster with Vegetable Salad.

    Beach Pub seems like a tacky seaside resort on arrival, but the Beach Pub is a relaxing bar where you can watch the yachts in the harbor bob around, and chat to salty old skippers about the perils of the deep. At the weekends there is live music.

    If you happen to be at Sai Kung on Thursdays nights then you should pay Anthony's Ranch a visit between 9pm-midnight for free drinks.

    Bar King lounge is a local pub in Tai Po, New Territories that local Tai Po residents go to only. You'll find an authentic Chinese pub experience in an offbeat purely residential area if off the beaten path is what you are interested in.
