Yummy Vietnamese Restaurant - Hong Kong
  • Cuisines: Asian, Vietnamese
  • NileGuide Expert Says:

The coconut dessert is unexpectedly good

  • NileGuide Expert tip:

You have to walk towards the China Ferry Terminal direction on Canton Road to find this little Vietnamese eatery.

    Description:

    • Its rare for Vietnamese restaurants to be located in commercial buildings, it means that the food has to be really good and you only cater to locals and regulars in order to get customers. The environment is a little towards the cramped side and really is a little hidden gem amidst the many good restaurants in Tsim Sha Tsui.

Yummy Vietnamese Restaurant probably does the beef pho and its all because of the broth. Its so good that socialite and Hong Kong celebrity Chua Lan strongly recommends trying the broth.

Yummy Vietnamese Restaurant does four different types of set menus for both lunch and dinner. Their Vietnamese curry is a little tailored towards Hong Kong tastes but nevertheless is rich and tasty. The deep fried shrimp cakes, stir fried vegetables and and garlic bread as well as the buy one get one free drinks menu are all local favourites. Its a regular Vietnamese restaurant for a lot of people who work in Tsim Sha Tsui seeing that the prices are so cheap for Vietnamese food that is so delicious.
