- This Showcase Group One Race Meeting brings together the best of Hong Kong's thoroughbreds and a selection of international favourites for an exciting afternoon of racing. Opened on 7 October 1978, the Sha Tin Race Course features extensive infield landscaping and giant colour-display screens facing the viewing stands. Package tours, including admission badge, a souvenir and racing post, are available with round-trip transportation via air-conditioned coach from the JW Marriott Hotel and other sites. Admission limited to those over 18 years of age.
