Description:
- Part of the Hong Kong Trail, the first part of this section is a reasonably steep uphill path that leads to the Shek O Peak. After that, the walk along the Dragon's Back is an easy amble with magnificent views across both sides of the peninsula. The trail continues on to Mount Collinson and then descends to Tai Long Wan. Tai Long Wan is a pristine gem tucked away in a remote corner of Hong Kong. In true Hong Kong style, a bowl of spam and egg instant noodles is never too far away - the neighbouring beaching boasts two cozy cafes offering all day snacks and refreshments. Shek O is a further 20 minute walk on from Tai Long Wan. Either destination hosts a number of restaurants offering refreshments. This 8.5 kilometer walk takes three hours and is recommended for experienced hikers.
