NileGuide Expert tip:
Whilst you are at the swimming pool, might as well visit Forbes Street in Kennedy Town. This picturesque wall tree is grown on arguably the biggest stone wall in Hong Kong to contains masonry wall trees.
Description:
- Want to go for a swim, but not so keen on paying the prices at the private health clubs? No problem! Though soon to be replaced by a futuristic "water cube" pool, this old favourite has two 50 metre pools (one for lapping, one for lounging) and a fun children's play area up on a podium.
A word to the wise, however: avoid peak hours and weekends. Crowds can be a problem. Best to call ahead and check opening hours and facilities, as these vary from pool to pool. Closed for maintenance from December-March. - © wcities.com 2012
