Description:

  • Tai Fu Tai is the only remaining Mandarin's house in Hong Kong. Built in 1865 during the Qing Dynasty, this elegant house was the residence of Man Chuen Luen, who had the title of Tai Fu, Chinese for 'Great Man', bestowed on him because of his good works. Tai Fu Tai is famous for its fine architectural decorations and restoration was completed in 1988, returned this declared monument to its original grandeur.
