Tsuen Wan - Hong Kong

  • Description:

    • Tsuen Wan is situated northwest of Kowloon and is a major industrial and residential area. Nevertheless, there are several interesting and well-preserved sights nearby making the trip worthwhile. The main attractions include the Yuen Yuen Institute (a temple complex dedicated to Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism), the Sam Tung Uk Museum (a restored two-century-old walled village), Chuk Lam Sim Yuen (the "Bamboo Forest Monastery"), the Airport Core Programme Exhibition Centre, the Tsing Ma Bridge Visitors Centre & Viewing Platform, and Tai Mo Shan (the tallest mountain in Hong Kong).
