Victoria Park

Description:

  • Everyone who comes to Hong Kong, whether it be for a holiday, visiting friends, business or trade fairs will visit the conspicuous Victoria Peak (also known simply as the 'Peak'). Don't forget that everyone in Hong Kong wants to live on the Peak. Everyone at Hong Kong should go to the Peak for panoramic views of the city, which have to be amongst the most spectacular in the world, especially at night. The viewing platforms on top of the Peak Tower and Peak Galleria are a must for anyone with a camera. Most English speaking corporate executives and expats live on the Peak because companies fork out exorbitant amounts of rent. A walk around the Peak reveals further scenic vistas over the greener western parts of Hong Kong Island. Feel like hiking? Start from Lugard Road and end at Harlech Road, it takes about two hours and you experience the Peak's wilderness. It is one of the few areas of Hong Kong that feels like a tropical climate. Otherwise the Peak Tower is a great Tourist Haven and offers great views and great tourist shopping.
