• Turtle Bay Resort is a luxury resort sitting on almost five miles of white sand beach. The hotel features two pools, championship golf courses by Fazio and Palmer, tennis courts, horseback riding, hiking and mountain bike trails, a surfing school, several restaurants, shopping and a spa.
  
  The hotel is about 45 minutes to an hour from bustling Honolulu, and provides the perfect place to stay out of the city life, get pampered, and relax. Nearby historic Haleiwa Town offers quaint shopping and a range of restaurants, and the infamous surfing mecca, the North Shore.
  
  Turtle Bay's 443 accommodations start at around $200 and go up from there, so the resort isn't for the budget traveler. But the resort is beautiful and luxurious, and is the only hotel anywhere on the North Shore.
  
  Visitors can park and walk the public access to the beach, but the rest of the beaches on the North Shore are so nice that Turtle Bay's beaches aren't exactly a must-see over the rest. If you want to head out to the resort to golf, have drinks at Lei Lei's, or dinner at Leonardo's, it's a nice drive out and a fun day trip.
