Duke's Waikiki

• Duke's is a must visit place in Honolulu. It is usually busy, but instead of leaving your name with the hostess, saunter into the bar and see if there is an empty table facing the ocean. Same menu, same great view. Duke's is a place for locals and tourists alike. The best time to go is Friday between 4-6 pm when Maunalua is playing. The buffet is a very good price for Waikiki. Remember the waitress's name - you will get better service. If you do see Hula dancers, these are not professionals, but patrons who have been seized by the spirit of the islands, or perhaps just seized by the spirit. :-)
