    • This is a relatively new eating place in the Mccully Shopping Center which is really close to Waikiki, right across from the Ala Wai Canal. This restaurant offers a japanese style of dining called "shabu shabu". In the middle of your table is an single electric hot plate. You choose the type soup base you want such as, beef, pork, chicken, etc., as well as the kind of meat you want. Then you walk over to the refrigerated glass case and chose your vegetables, noodles, and a variety of seafood choices like, crab, shrimp, fish. Your waiter or waitress then brings over your pot of hot soup and puts it on the hot plate. He/she also brings your choice of meat which you then add to the soup along with the choices you picked from the refrigerator. They also offer you different varieties of condiments like soy sauce to add to your pot. The whole restaurant smells incredible and is pretty steamy from everyone's cooking at their table! The food is very tasty because you are the one actually adding the flavors that you want. You can get dinner for 2 for around $35-$40. If you go during lunchtime, they offer a discount. don't know how long that is going to last though. Since their opening, it has been getting very busy. I highly recommend this place because the food is great and the price is reasonable.
